2021 Box Season Review
After losing out the 2020 season, our Rampage teams came out bigger, faster and stronger than ever before! 2021 had us hosting modified practices from April until June with age divisions from 8U up to 16U. Upon the easing of covid-19 restrictions, June 26 we began play in a modified 6 game exhibition season with teams from Estevan, Moose Jaw and Regina. We were able to enter 1 team in the 12U, 14U, and 16U divisions.
The 2021 Box season came to an end in Saskatoon on July 23-25 as we entered 2 teams into the Provincial tournament. The 14U squad went 0-4 on the weekend but each game came down to the wire in exciting lacrosse action. The 16U team faired much better as they were able to fight their way into the medal round and brought home the Bronze. Our 12U squad was well represented as we provided 8 players and teamed up with Moose Jaw Mustangs for the tournament. They battled all the way to Gold medal game, then fell short in a shoot-out to bring home the Silver.
Overall 2021 was a good season as we get back on our path to normal seasons, practices and games. Well done Rampage!
